IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD: MACY’S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE

It’s officially November which means the countdown to Thanksgiving is on. Aside from the festive feast itself, there’s one beloved Thanksgiving tradition that is uniquely New York: Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
2019 marks the 95th year of the annual event. While the parade is televised and viewed by millions around the globe, there’s something special about watching the giant balloons, floats and marching bands from the city streets. The parade starts at 77th St and Central Park West and makes its way down to 34th Street to Macy’s Herald Square.
Although The Skylark is closed each year in observance of the holiday, you can enjoy Thanksgiving-inspired favorites, such as Cranberry Sauce Sangria and Harvest Duck Wontons, on our menu all season long.
