If you listen closely, you can hear the holiday jingle begin to play. If you’re thinking it’s too soon to think about winter festivities, think again. The Rink at Rockefeller Center opens up to the public Monday, October 8th. The Grand Opening Ceremony begins at 9am and includes a first-skate performance by members from the Ice Theatre of New York and Figure Skating in Harlem.
The rink, open daily from 8:30am until midnight, is located at Fifth Avenue between 49th and 50th Streets. Make plans to get on the ice before peak season hits and both prices and wait times go up.
Experience this iconic New York City tradition, then head from the ice to ice cold cocktails at The Skylark.
