Women’s History Month, occurring annually each March, is dedicated to highlighting the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society. To celebrate the strong and powerful females changing the world, The Skylark recently hosted a group of women making their mark on the Great White Way.
With The Skylark as the backdrop of the Playbill and Ensemblist feature, six of Broadway’s best ensemble members, each of whom has performed in at least seven Broadway musicals over the course of a decade, spoke candidly about changing the trajectory of American Theatre. “In participating in the creation of musicals like Anastasia, Frozen, Mary Poppins, and SpongeBob SquarePants, they’ve helped create stories beloved by theatre lovers around the world,” explained Mo Brady, creator of the Ensemblist.
As a neighbor to surrounding stages, The Skylark is proud to showcase the work, achievements, and serious girl power of this influential Broadway crew. Check out the full feature HERE.
